Please place your orders online for fastest service and lowest prices
All prices and descriptions are subject to change without notice. Specifications given are from the manufacturers and importers and we reserve the right to modify the information provided herein. Discount Firearms Online is not responsible for internet order errors. Prices are rarely incorrect but we retain the right to refuse any transaction pending the correction of pricing. We will notify you of any error.
Firearms will not be shipped to you directly. They must be sent to your local FFL (Federal Firearms License) Dealer who will complete the necessary paperwork and perform the required background check. We can refer you to dealers that will do a transfer for you in almost every US city or you can use this link fflguide to access the FFL guide courtesy of Shotgun News. We do not ship firearms to non-FFL holders. This is federal law. Please make contact with your local dealer to verify their charges. Most dealers will accept a transfer for you and run the required background checks for a minimal fee. Your dealer must send us an originally signed (preferably in colored ink) copy of their license. It is important to make sure that Your Name and Order Information is with the dealer's license so that we know to apply it to your order. Please Note: Anyone who is legally allowed to own a firearm is allowed to buy it here. What does legally allowed mean? You must be an adult who is able to enter into a contract. You must be able to pass a background check. The following information is not intended to be a complete guide to all applicable laws. It is strictly your responsibility to be in compliance with all Federal, state, and local laws when using this site. Checks, Money Orders or Credit Cards: You can place your order online using the "Order/InquiryInformation Form" at the bottom of this page and choose Personal Check, Certified Check or Money Order, Visa or Mastercard as the payment option (PLEASE NOTE: There is a 3% Non-Cash surcharge when using your Credit Card). Once your payment is received and has cleared the bank (7 days for Personal Checks) your product will be shipped. If you pay with a Certified Check or Money Order or Credit Card we can normally ship your order out within 72 hours. International Orders: Due to the complex nature of Import/Export laws regarding firearms, we do not accept orders for International shipment.
Returns, Changes and Cancellations
Returns: If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return it within 5 days for a full refund, less shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee. All scopes must be unused and in 100% original condition with all labels and paperwork in tact. You must have a "Return Authorization" (RA) before returning any item. Contact us by phone or email for a Return Authorization. No returns on closeout items or optics.
Order Changes: We will try to help you with a change to your order before it ships. If the order change request is e-mailed, please save a copy for future reference.
Price Changes: All prices are subject to change without notice. However, we will attempt to contact you before we ship if a price changes. This applies to all items, including special orders and backorders. Due to the special nature of some items, exact prices are not known until delivery is made to us. We reserve all rights for final pricing.
Defective or incorrect items: If a product is defective or is not the product that you ordered, we will either replace the product or give you a full refund, less shipping costs. We cannot replace products that have been used. If they are covered under the manufacturer's warranty these items can be sent directly to the manufacturer for replacement. We do not give refunds on Optics or Closeout items.
Cancellations: Orders can only be cancelled if the item has not been shipped. A 20% restocking fee applies if the order has been processed. We will confirm the cancellation with you via e-mail. If you do not get a return confirmation, Your Order Has Not Been Cancelled! Contact us Immediately if you Do Not receive a reply to your request to cancel! Please include your Order Information, Your Name and the word "Cancel" in the subject line of your e-mail. Email is not 100% reliable. Most e-mail systems filter all mail for possible viruses and good emails can be lost from time to time. We will reply to your cancellation with a dated reply.
Sales Tax
Sales Tax: We are required by law to collect 7.0% (Includes 1% Highlands County Surtax) Sales Tax from Florida Residents Only.No Sales Tax is collected on Out of State Sales.
Shipping
Shipping: Please be aware that Shipping Charges are Always in addition to the prices listed for the item and that we Must ship Firearms Only to your FFL Dealer. We will normally ship to you within 72 hours unless an item is out of stock. If we receive your order and discover that an item is out of stock, we will notify you of the approximate lead time if it is available. Please note that some items are unique, hard to find, or one-of-a-kind, so we reserve the right to cancel your order should an item not be available. Damage in shipping should always be reported to the carrier. We Do insure the contents against loss and damage. We normally ship US Postal Service Insured Priority Mail. Normal shipping charges are as follows:
1.) Derringers & Mini-Revolvers $12.00
2.) Normal Sized Handguns $20.00
3.) Rifle or Shotgun $25.00
4.) Accessories vary in price and are calculated by weight and Delivery Zip Code.
Exceptions to the above pricing policy should only occur if you have an Extra Heavy Handgun, Rifle or Shotgun. We will notify you by e-mail if this is the case. We can also ship UPS 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air for an additional charge. NOTE: if you request Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air, that is how we will ship, but it doesn't mean it will leave our store any faster. If you need something really fast, please make a note on your order, and we will try to accomodate you the best we can.
Special Orders
Special Orders: Special Order items may require a deposit up to the full value of the item. Special order deposits are charged immediately. Left Hand and Custom Items are Non-Returnable and Orders Cannot be Cancelled once we have procured your item.
Step by Step Procedure
Federal firearms laws prevent the shipment of a weapon from Discount Firearms Online directly to an individual in another state (We are in Florida}. We must ship your firearm directly to an FFL Dealer near you. The steps are as follows:
1.) Order your firearm online using our secure Order/Inquiry Form. If you know the dealer you are going to use at the time of your order placement (not a requirement) enter his name into the "Ship To" field.
2.) Find a dealer near you that will accept the transfer of the firearm for you. Most sporting goods stores, gun clubs, shooting ranges, etc. may provide this service for you. If you don't know which dealer to use in your area, put a comment on your order and we will help you locate one near you. We have access to a large list of dealers in almost every city in the US that will gladly handle a transfer for you. Most dealers charge a minimal fee for a transfer. You must confirm the transfer with your local dealer in advance.
3.) Have the dealer send us an originally signed copy of his license if we don't already have it on file. To check whether a license is on file, Please contact us. We will also accept a scanned, e-mailed copy, or a faxed copy of your dealers license!
4.) Make sure the dealer knows the firearm is coming from us. If you used a dealer that we already had on file, call him to let him know that a gun for you is on the way. We will send you an email when the firearm ships, which will include a tracking number.
You have 5 days to inspect the firearm at the dealers shop. All manufacturers warranty restrictions and conditions apply.
